After a long period of silence, the Air Jordan 2011 is back in a big way. On August 16th, you’ll be able to customize your own pair of 2011’s. This will be only the second Air Jordan available for customization on Nike iD, following the Air Jordan 1 Alpha. Not all of the customization options have been released, but Nike has shown that you’ll be able to customize the side laser pattern, side panel color, midsole color, and more. Nike has released a few pictures of the Jordan 2011 iD, check them out after the jump. Will you be getting a pair? E-mail your best creations to email@example.com and you might get featured.
It appears that this fall Converse will feature an array of different shoes inspired by (or appearing to be inspired by) various Mexican or Native American woven textiles. While this one is not a Mexican blanket or Indian design, it does feature a woven upper. From afar you may be convinced that there is horizontal striping on the shoe, but up close you can really appreciate the different patterns used. Pick them up from various Converse retailers like RMK and check out more pictures after the jump.
The second installation from J. Cole’s weekly project. This time it’s three more unreleased tracks. Check out the story about each and a download link after the jump.
New Balance has produced a handful of great releases this year, and this one can be added to the collection. Donning the popular “Parra x Nike Air Max 1” maroon/light blue colorway, this 574 should be a must have for NB fans and many outside the NB circle. The upper features a variety of materials including suede, mesh, rough and smooth leather. These are now available at Street Supply.
What a Monday for Kanye and Jay! Their joint album dropped at midnight (FINALLY!) and their general release tickets went on sale this morning. The album is a must cop, even if the both artists were at their worst this CD could win an award, but that’s definitely not the case. Kanye and Jay trade some of the best verses of their careers over stunning beats for over an hour. Throughout the whole album there are only three features (not counting the Otis Redding sample). Frank Ocean does the hook on “No Church in the Wild” and “Sweet Baby Jesus”, Beyonce does the hook on “Lift Off”, and Mr. Hudson delivers the performance of his career on the hook of “Love You So”. Make sure you get a copy of this album and get online right now to get your tickets to the Throne tour. Tracklist after the jump, get your tickets here.
